Seldom eaten such a bad pasta dish! If you can't prepare something like that, you shouldn't offer it!

We have been to "Budchen" several times and are always very satisfied with the ambience, the service and the quality of the dishes. An absolutely recommendable restaurant! A reservation is recommended in advance because, as the name suggests, the restaurant is rather small.

We recently spent our Christmas party there. The ambience is open but very cozy. Modern furnished. The service was attentive and professional. The food was ok. I had ordered a fillet of beef, in English, with fried potatoes and vegetables. I was very surprised when I got a side salad as a starter, as this is not increased in the menu. Sure, that's usually the case with meat dishes, there is a salad, but usually it's somewhere on the menu as a note. The salad was cut a bit coarser, so you had to eat it with a knife and fork. When the main course came, there were big delays. I was one of the last to get the food. Most of them were already finished, which was a shame. The plate was well presented, the quality of the meat was great BUT medium. I was very disappointed. I expect, if you have fillet of beef on the menu, that you will master the different cooking levels. The vegetables were very oily and the fried potatoes were not fried ... the worst part was when we later wanted to order a dessert, there was none. There are about 5 different desserts in the menu but none of them in the house. What we were offered was only 3 types of ice cream with spray cream .... I can conjure up a better dessert at home. On the whole, we would visit s'budche again and give him a second chance.

Been there today with the whole family and many dishes were very good and to the point. Unfortunately, the schnitzel, in my opinion, frozen food then in the deep fryer and with a ca.1 cm thick champagne sauce that I didn't like but that is Such a simple dish would be totally messed up and that's a shame because the cook has a clue what he is doing but has failed with the schnitzel

Great little restaurant. Food was wonderful (Beer also), I had a chicken cordon blue with fried potatoes. Service was the best I have had in awhile in a German restaurant, very friendly and welcoming, even shook our hands when we left. I highly recommend it.

The owner family is very accommodating and friendly. The food is great in taste, is served well presented. Sometimes it takes a bit longer, because many dishes are prepared to be picked up.

1 * deduction! Have already subsided or overloaded? Almost 1 hour wait for the food. Rum steak not as desired and slightly tough. Pizza dough too fresh? Therefore, yeast taste and not right through !? The initial attention, it tastes even something to drink, has also diminished !? Or just overwhelmed with 10 guests & pizza to go!? Fresh, clean atmosphere. Nice friendly staff. Easy "upscale" tasty food. Reservation on the weekend necessarily useful.

Possibly the best roast beef I’ve ever eaten. Came with a generous portion of tasty mushrooms, some potatoes (not memorable, but nothing wrong with them) and a good salad. Simple but perfect. Same goes for the ice cream with raspberry sauce- I think the sauce was made in house from fresh raspberries- there were a lot of chunks of fruit in it. And some sort of alcohol. I’m an (sometimes too) adventurous eater, but this meal was a reminder that sticking to the classics can be rewarding. The restaurant is cozy and pretty, and the staff was very patient about my lack of German, and had an English menu.

Dinner here was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. The menu is in both German and English. Plenty of food with a very reasonable price for the quality you’re receiving. Below I ate the chicken cordon bleu with the fried potatoes for 14€ and also pictured is the Salata Italian for 10€. Definitely coming back here again! Perfect spot right next to the train station in the center of Glan-Münchweiler.

I lived in Glan-Munchweiler from 2007 to 2012 and this was one of my wife and my favorite places to go. This small town restaurant has it all and more. Pizza abend was one of our favorite nights to visit and I think they have the best salads. I still think about their pizza and salad often. I can't imagine they have changed much. We miss you budche.

This is the only restaurant left open in Glan-Munchweiler. I've ate here a few times and the food gets better and better each time, but the service is still terrible (even for Europe). The staff is friendly enough, just not very attentive. sBudche is an interesting combination. It appears to have Italian owners who do some decent Italian cuisine, but the food its known for in the area is schnitzel. I've had a few of their schnitzels--the pepper schnitzel, which I've only ever seen on special--and they are very good. They also have Kolsh beer from Koln on tap. Not very many places out side of Koln do this. There's a nice patio area with a few tables to enjoy your meal in the sun when it makes its appearance for all of 10 days a year in Germany. The nicest part, for me, about sBudche, is that they are located right next to Glan-Munchweiler's train platform, so I can have a beer or bite before coming/going on the train.
